Day 66. Whale Sharks
On our way back from a morning dive on Manta Reef we came across two whale sharks! The larger one was approximately 13m long. These gentle giants let us swim with them for about an hour. Truly the best morning of my life (:
Thanks Guinjata Dive Centre Mozambique for this wonderful experience!!! Footage to follow

Day 62
Our research is drawing to a close and we have started to compile the data. Amoung other finds one of the more worrying is that of the devil rays caught over the last 2months in the Guinjata area 71% have been female and of that 83% have been pregnant. More stats to follow.
On a happier note I unexpectably met a nurse shark in a cave on my dive yesterday and swam with a giant manta (5m wing span) on my dive this morning.

Day 56
Me lying next to a Silky Shark. I'm about 6 foot so you can see how big some of these sharks are! This catch consisted of a small zebra shark, two large silky shark (3m and larger) and a reef shark.
